Social Cognitive Theory

This is a theory by Bandura. The social cognitive theory states that we learn by watching other peoples actions and then imitating them. So if we see people exercising, especially our friends and family, and they benefit from it then we are very likely to follow their lead and exercise with them. If they didn’t benefit from it then we wouldn’t exercise because we believe that it makes no change.
